Job Summary:

The Project Manager, key person in charge of the day-to-day project management and contract administration, will be responsible handling our company’s ongoing projects, working closely with team members to ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are maintained in a timely manner.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

Establishing effective project communication plans and managing execution of such

Coordinating with various team members to track project requirements, deadlines and schedules Facilitating project meetings

Identifying and developing new client opportunities

Daily oversite of operations and site/project team

Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experiences, and time constraints

 

Duties/Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Preconstruction services

Design Review

Scheduling

Submitting project deliverables

Prepares and implements budget based on estimates

Act as liaison between company, customers and vendors

Preparing and presenting status reports

Monitoring all matters affecting the project budget, maintaining a close adherence to performance Invoice review and approval

Develop detailed RFQ’s and RFP’s in accordance with procedure.

Due diligence studies

Gathering, analyzing and summarizing status reports

Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed for successful implementation and turnover of facility or system to client.

Executing the strategy to accomplish the goals of the company and project throughout all phases

Qualifications:

5+ years field experience in the commercial construction industry

Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is a plus

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Ability to lead project teams of various sizes, seeing them through completion

Budget management experience

Proficiency with the following

MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Blueprint reading – ability to interpret and build accordingly

Procore (preferred)

Bluebeam Revu (preferred)

Smartsheet (preferred)

Taking and uploading digital photographs

Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills

Experienced in scheduling and reading Gantt Charts

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Criteria

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to respond quickly to sounds

Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

Ability to safely climb ladders

Ability to climb stairs (multiple flights) while carrying 25 pounds

Ability to work in extreme weather

Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day OHSA 10 or 30 Certification
